The City Council of Niagara Falls has succeeded in passing a new gambling resolution that will encourage more investment in the gaming sector of the city. This new resolution was passed unanimously and it asked the Finance Minister and Kathleen Wynne, the Premier to enable the city to be the home of new gambling operations. This could also greatly affect the Canadian online gambling market as well.
This resolution did not only focus on opening and running new gaming operations and locations in Niagara Falls, but it also asked that Premier Wynne should give directions to the OLG in order to add the 2 current casino resorts in the city into the OLG modernization programme because they were not included.
