Rocco Polumno WSOP

Rocco Polumno, the professional player from Italy was able to achieve victory in the WSOP which secured Italy the first WSOP bracelet in 4 years. He achieved that in the event 44 which was a one thousand buy in No Limit Hold’em. This event had a total of 2,949 participants. This resulted in a massive prize pool of 2,654,100 million dollars.

Due to the large number of players, the event had to be carried out on the course of three days. By the third day, the list of 2,949 players was reduced down to the final table. This table included Rocco Polumbo, Thomas Conway, Jason Everett, Niel Mittelman, Patrick Karschamroon, Kevin Elia, David Forster and Anke Berner.

The players provided the viewers with a very entertaining and an exciting final table until they reached level 27. As they reached level 27 with the blinds being twenty five thousand dollars and fifty thousand dollars and five thousand dollars ante, it became a one on one confrontation. The two players that remained were Nelson Robinson and Rocco Polumbo. Rocco Polumbo had a chip lead of 2:1 and was basically controlling the game.

They didn’t reach level 28 as Rocco was able to eliminate his rival despite of his amazing performance. This secured Rocco Polumbo the grand prize of 464,464 dollars and the WSOP Bracelet.
