BamPoker and Pam Anderson

The Hollywood star, Pam Anderson, seems to have returned to the business of online gambling. According to reports that were released on Wednesday, Pam Anderson is going to be a part of the release of the new BamPoker application that is going to be launched on the social network, Facebook.

Pam Anderson first started her involvement in online gambling when she was a part of PamelaPoker.com. The site was an internet poker site that didn’t last long as it closed down after only 4 months and then it got absorbed by Doyle Brunson. This failure of PamelaPoker.com was a result of the advent of UIGEA which had a disastrous affect on the internet poker industry in the US.

Commenting on the failure of her website she stated that it should be closed and she doesn’t want to be involved with it any more. She added that she doesn’t want to lure people to become gamblers. She ended her comment by wishing the best of luck to Doyle Brunson.

After the announcement of her involvement in BamPoker, it seems that the star has undergone a change of heart. She is going to play Texas Hold’em Poker with the players who are fans and sign up for the poker application. Since it is a Facebook application, players will not wager with real cash but with virtual casino chips and XP points like any other social gaming application on Facebook.

According to the Pereira & Jeremy Nichele, the Canadians behind BamPoker, they said that they are doing their best to provide interactive gaming experience that is fun and entertaining to all of the users.
