New Appointments at Scientific Games Corporation

There have been two new senior appointments reported at Scientific Games Corporation. These new appointments are aiming to improve the gaming section of the company that includes Barcrest, Game Media and The Global Draw. The first appointment is Michael Koch who has been appointed as the International Business’ managing director for the gaming division. The second appoint is Gareth Philips who is appointed the CTO of the gaming division.

Michael Koch was firstly employed by Scientific Games Corporation in order to lead and manage the relationship between the subsidiary of Playtech, Videobet and The global Draw in 2011. As for his new appointment, it includes the responsibility for the gaming operations internationally and the strategies of the company’s growth. Michael Koch was also the chief exec of Ace Interactive and the senior exec at Wincor Nixdorf and GTech.

Garthe Philips firstly joined Scientific Games Corporate as the managing director for the international Business of The Global Draw, this was two years ago back in 2010. He is now the CTO of The Global Draw. Before he joined the Global Draw he was also the CTO of Aristocrat Technologies.

Commenting on these new appointments, the chief exec for Scientific Games Corporation, Ian Timiss has stated that Gareth and Michael Koch are great additions and they have did so much for the business since they joined the corporation. They helped the company establish and strengthen its relationship with major partners. They also helped the company in developing custom made solutions for the Caribbean and Latin American Players.
