Astra Games Acquisitions

Astra Games Ltd, the gambling machine developer based in England which is also a subsidiary of AGI has finished acquisitioning a number of assets of the Danoptra Gaming Group.

Danoptra is the owner of Mazooma Interactive Games, RMS Sales and Gamestec Leisure and other subsidiaries as well. These subsidiaries have been sold to Astra Games following the approval and clearance by the Office of Fair Trading of the United Kingdom.

According to Astra Games, this transaction and acquisition is going to enable the Astra UK Gaming group subsidiary to have a total turnover of eighty million British pounds, according to the figures from 2011.

It will also achieve earnings before deducing tax, amortization and interest of more than fifteen million British pounds. According to a statement by Astra Games, this new subsidiary is going to offer more than 1,042 job opportunities as staff members in this new subsidiary.

This new subsidiary is going to be managed by a board of 5 members. This board is going to include the Astra Games’ managing director, Zane Mersich, as he will be appointed the chief exec. It will also include the managing director for Bell-Fruit Games, John Austin.

Zane Mersich commented on this by saying that all of the people involved are going to work together to make Astra and Danoptra more understanding to the market of the UK and its importance.
