Spain is one of the recent European countries that started to legalize and regulate online gambling. Betfair has decided to partner with Playtech in order to enter the Spanish market together to offer internet poker gambling services. It is expected that this collaboration is going to make the two companies able to provide the Spanish market with internet poker by the end of this month.

The two companies are also eyeing another European market that just got regulated and legalized, the Italian internet gambling market. Betfair also stated that choosing Playtech was the smart choice as Playtech is the suitable software developer that is able to provide the company with the means necessary to enter these newly regulated European markets.

There are no details about the poker website but it is estimated that this new Spanish poker site will resemble other Betfair poker websites that are country specific. It is also expected that the website will have the same set of games, promotions, bonuses and tournaments.

Playtech has also announced recently that it has entered a deal with BetClic group. This deal will witness the entrance of Everest Poker to the iPoker network of Playtech. This deal is going to pave the entrance of Playtech into the market of France.

Entering and excelling in the French market is one of the targets of Playtech because the French market is expected to be one of the biggest European markets beside the German and Italian markets.
