The Ontarian province has announced a massive lottery jackpot win as a Toronto player has hit the Lotto Max Jackpot that occurred on the weekend and was able to become a millionaire. The player that won the jackpot did not claim it yet, but somewhere out there, in the great city of Toronto, there is a man who will become 30.3 million dollar richer.
Last Saturday, one day following the draw, no one came and claimed the prize, Tony Bitoni, the spokesman of the OLG (Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation), stated that the winner will have to wait until the weekend is over, so he will have to wait until its Tuesday to claim the prize. Nonetheless, on Tuesday, no one came and there was no sign of the lucky Jackpot Lotto Max winner. The seven winning numbers were two, nine, twenty-three, 29, 30, 30 and 43, as or the bonus number, it was equal 40.
It seems that the Ontario lottery is on a spree, besides the massive 30.3 million dollar win, a lucky player from Brampton has won one million dollars on an “Encore” lottery ticket this last weekend and last month, a family from Peterborough won a total of 50 million dollars from the Lotto Max Draw. It seems that the Lotto has been creating a lot of millionaires lately. According to numbers, since 2009, the Ontarian Lotto Max lottery has given more than 1.8 billion dollars in prizes to lucky Canadian winners. Out of that sum, twenty-eight were huge jackpot wins and 169 of them were 1 million wins through the MaxMillions tickets .
With such a great record, the upcoming Lotto Max Jackpot is going to reach an outstanding 10 million dollar. These lottery jackpot draws take place every Friday and the tickets are available for players until 9pm.
