Online gambling and land based gambling group, William Hill is in trouble with the ADA (Advertising Standards Authority) of the UK. This is because of 2 newspaper advertisements that date back to April and March. They were posted in the Daily Mirror and the Racing Post. According to the ADA, the odds that are quoted in the two newspaper advertisements were somewhat misleading and not accurate enough.
It asked the gambling operator not to re run such ads once again. Even though the fine print at the ad stated that prices correct at 5 pm yesterday, it did not get the online gambling operator off the hock after a complaint from the public. This is not the first time that William Hill has a run in with the ADA of the UK.
