Another Canadian WSOP Bracelet

Canadians have shown their dominance at the World Series of Poker of 2013 and they still do as Canada has won another WSOP bracelet in 2013. Canadian born players were able to win 4 out of the first eleven events in the WSOP with many others reaching the final tables. The latest Canadian champion who earned a WSOP bracelet was Levi Berger who was born in Ontario, Ottawa. Although he also has a US citizenship and lives in LA, Levi Berger is very proud of his origins as a Canadian.

Levi Berger has won the bracelet by winning the $2,500 buy in 6-handed No Limit Hold ‘em event which lasted for 3 full days at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Vegas. He was able to come out on top of the competition that had 924 other players and a top prize that was equal $473,019. He was able to top them all for his gold bracelet. Levi Berger is a 22 years old poker player who enjoys playing poker at the Commerce Casino in LA and enjoys online poker when he returns to his homeland, Canada.

He stated that he started enjoying poker at home games and started to get hooked. He started to play online poker and following the events of Black Friday, he tried to get a day job and that’s when he realized that he will make poker his work and he has been playing poker for a living ever since.
