CA OLG Awards “Mobile Vendor of Record Contract” to Plastic Mobile

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has chosen Plastic Mobile as the Mobile Vendor of Record from among an unspecified number of business applicants that submitted proposals via the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents prescribed by the OLG’s competitive procurement process.

Plastic Mobile’s three-year full-service contract includes the designing, developing, strategizing, marketing and testing of mobile gaming technologies, customized according to the OLG’s needs in its bid to modernize Ontario’s lottery and gaming facilities with digital and mobile platforms.

Melody Adhami, President and COO of Plastic Mobile considers the crown corporation as a mid-to large-sized client, to which their role as Mobile Vendor of Record will have them working closely with the OLG. Their objective is to bring mobile innovation at the forefront of the gaming practices in Ontario, and that they “intend to set the bar high.”

Although she did not disclose the target date of completion and delivery for the first batch of mobile-related products, the Plastic Mobile COO stated “work will definitely roll out by 2015.’
