CA OLG Formally Opens Hanover Raceway’s New Gaming Floor

Hanover Raceway is sporting a new look that features a much bigger and modernized gaming floor. The new gaming facility was  formally launched via a ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Hanover town officials last July 04, 2014.

Spencer Parazader, General Manager of OLG Slots said that the OLG and Hanover Raceway partnership provided the perfect opportunity to pursue modernization initiatives aimed at giving Ontario patrons the best gaming experience.

Mayor Kathi Maskell says the people of Hanover are thrilled with what the OLG and Hanover Raceway partnership has accomplished in enhancing the region’s gaming opportunities, and is encouraging them to try out the OLG Slots of the raceway’s new gaming floor.  She envisions the facility will bring many visitors to their town, creating a “huge economic spin-off” as other local businesses will have increased patronage, which in turn will spur the creation of new jobs in the region.

The newly renovated 2,147 square feet gaming floor has 54 freshly installed slot machines and two (2) electronic table game machines that allow players to play electronic poker and electronic roulette using the most advanced gaming technology.

The 3-card e-poker allows five players to seat in a stud poker game, and for a minimum bet of CA$1 up to a maximum of CA$300, raceway customers can play against an automated dealer by betting on the value of one’s hand or both.

The e-roulette machine seats four players at a time, and for a minimum bet of CA$1 up to a maximum of CA$500, they can engage in real-time game play by dragging and dropping their virtual gaming chips on the virtual roulette table.
