In March of 2012, Shuffle Master stated that it has achieved great progress in an agreement to buyout Ongame Network Limited. Shuffle Master, the US casino equipment and tool supplier announced that it was a 19.5 million Euros deal. Ongame Network Limited is a twenty five brand internet poker network that belongs to Bwin Interactive.

This month, the three parties, Ongame Networkss, Bally Tehcnologies and Shuffle Master were happy to announce that they are very excited of the chance they would get after this deal. As this deal would allow for a joint cooperation in developing a gaming and a poker platform that would apply Ongame’s poker interface to the Bally gaming platform.

This announcement stated that it is a done deal. This is why it came as a shock to the online gambling community when an announcement was released by Bwin.Party stating that the deal is not happening anymore.

It also stated that the company is once again addressing potential buyers. As for the reasons behind such cancellation, it is still unclear but Bwin.Party has announced that it was a result of an agreement between all parties. Bwin.Party also stated that it will release further information and details in the appropriate time.
