There has been a survey that got carried out by Ernst & Young that stated that the gambling activities of the govt. of Isle of Man have been very beneficial to the economy of the island. A partner of Ernst & Young, John Hopes has commented on this by saying that the survey focused on the friendly environment of Isle of Man and the very up to date regulations which meets the worldwide known standards and laws. He added that such regulations and friendly environment were the reasons of the existence of many investments and the existence of a fair rivalry in the market.

The survey also focused on the secured and up to date ICT infrastructure of Isle of Man which was basically the examination ground of the first 3G system and boasting for Europe. It also presented one of the biggest cable fibre rings accompanied by a state of the art phone digital network. All of what is mentioned helped in the expansion and the growth of the gambling market of Isle of Man and what made it the successful market it is.  It simply transferred Isle of Man into one of the most important eGaming and eCommerce spots in all of Europe.

Not only that, but the online gambling sector has provided more than 645 people with jobs and these numbers grew greatly, by 41%, in 2010. This growth and expansion is predicted to continue as long as the Isle of Man govt. keeps doing what it is doing.
