During last year, the eCOGRA has performed more than one-hundred compliance reviews according to its eGAP requirements, EGBA standards and other jurisdictional regulations. The eGAP provides a professional and a strict framework for efficient, safe and fair business activity in the online gaming industry. Such process includes independent and continuous assessment of all of the live gaming transactions. This ensures that all of the games are operated fairly and securely in a reliable and a safe environment. The enforcement of such strict regulations has helped in leaving a very positive impact on how the industry operates. These regulations also ensure regulators and players that the operators and their suppliers are acting responsibly.
Commenting on this, the CEO of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever has said that this certification from the eCOGRA is synonymous with the best level of professional conduct possible in the internet gambling industry. He also stated that they are very proud to have received the Certified Software Seal, which shows how serious they are when it comes to responsible gaming and player protection. He also added that everyone in the company is working hard to make sure that their product meets all of the requirements and regulations.
