The moment that the Canadian poker players were waiting for is finally here. It has been announced that the Canadian poker players are finally going to be able to use the Mobile app for PokerStars that is available to players in other countries. This Mobile app is compatible with android, iPad and iPhone devices.

This mobile app has been going live and becoming available in different countries for more than 6 months. The PokerStars Mobile app was first introduced in Italy in January. Following its release in Italy it was available for the United Kingdom players the following month in February. It then became available in countries of the EU in April including France, then in Australia & Asia in May.

Until the release of the Mobile App in Canada, it was thought that Canada will be the only country that is involved in gambling that will not have this new Mobile App. although the exact release date or schedule is not yet announced but according to the director of forums of PokerStars, Jeffrey Haas, the roll out of the PoekrStars Mobile app is following a big and a multi phased plan. This Mobile app resembles the computer version of PokerStars as players will have access to cash games, tournaments, Zoom Poker, SNGs, PLO games and Hold’em poker.

This Mobile app is compatible with almost every Android smart phone, iPhone and it even includes an update that would make it compatible with the iPad3 retina display.
