Renewal of Licensing Agreement between Hasbro and IGT

After the renewal of the existing licensing agreement between Hasbro Incorporated, the IGT is going to continue distributing interactive casino games based on games carrying the Hasbro name.

International Game Technology or IGT , which is a computerized gaming tools designer and manufacturer from the US, has revealed that the renewal of agreement provides their subsidiary, IGT Interactive, the rights to carry on the distribution of online casino games designed around Hasbro brands, in a legal way, up to last day of 2014.

Included in the new agreement is that the American firm, IGT, can produce and distribute the new titled games based on new Hasbro brands together with the maintenance of the distribution of the popular games like; Monopoly, Battleship, Cluedo, Dungeons & Dragons and Transformers.

According to Gideon Bierer, IGT Interactive’s Executive Vice President, they are very delighted for the renewal of the agreement with the Pawtucket-based board game and toy manufacturer, which means that there will be a continued business relationship with Hasbro with the promise of building up further business ties.
