Poker Tour (WPT) Enterprises Incorporated is going into partnership with TransGaming Incorporated, the social video games developer, in order to create a new WPT-branded title on GameTree TV for the Freebox Revolution.  WPT Enterprises is a subsidiary of Gibraltar-based online poker and casino operator bwin.party digital entertainment and the exclusively new WPT game was created to get players into a real limitless Texas hold-em experience via using three-dimensional graphics and state-of-the-art opponents that are generated by a computer.  The Freebox Revolution is the newest generation set-top box by the French telecommunications company Free that has been the first to release a ‘triple-play’ combo of landline, Internet and IP television in France. 

The President for WPT Enterprises, Adam Pliska is reported to have said that WPT is known for giving its players a great experience in poker both in online and live events.  He goes on to say that they could not be happier with their new game from TransGaming that allows their world fan base an authentic and immersive WPT experience on their connected televisions.  TransGaming has stated that the WPT is currently available as part of the subscription service to GameTree TV and will be announced for separate purchase soon.

Chief Executive Officer and President for TransGaming, Vikas Gupta, is reported to have stated that they have built the WPT video game to give a dedicated experience via the television that gives players the feeling that they are taking part in a real WPT tournament.  The game is wonderful and the company believes that it will set the layout for the connected video games experience.  He goes on to say that they have seen great revenue and traction increase since their move to a subscription-only model with GameTree TV and the availability of WPT is thought to catalyze further growth.
