The South Korean politician Shin Eui-jin believes that online games are the same way as alcohol, – online sources of addiction, and this has angered the video game industry.

The South Koreans certainly have nothing to envy to their northern neighbor, where an American was recently sentenced to 15 years in labor camps. In a country considered Eldorado for professional players with video game competitions televised weekly reporting Shin Eui-jin had the effect of a virtual bomb.

This member of the Conservative Party has filed a bill to regulate the sale of alcohol, drugs, video games and online gambling which he says are a source of harmful addiction. I must say that Shin Eui-jin is not only a politician but also a former doctor.
