Two professional pokers have claimed two WSOP bracelets last Friday. These two bracelets were claimed at the events 57 and 58 that took place in the Rio in Vegas. They also went home with a big cash prize for finishing in the 1st place. The first event was won by Gregory Merson, an internet poker professional from Maryland. He successfully earned his first bracelet and became a millionaire. He won event 57 which was a ten thousand buy in No Limit Hold’em event. He went back home with an astonishing 1,136,197 dollars.
This event had a total of 474 participants. This list of players included many professional players who were all trying to get the big cash prize. This list of players provided the audience with a very entertaining event. It took the event an extra day to finish. At the end, Gregory Merson was in a one on one confrontation with Keith Lehr. Keith Lehr already has a WSOP bracelet in his collection and he has more experience than Merson. During the confrontation, Gregory Merson had a big lead in chips which made it easy for him to dispatch his rival. Keith Lehr went back home with a cash prize of 701,757. This is considered the largest payout that the Gregory Merson has ever won.
The winner of the event 58 was the professional Russian poker player named Viacheslav Zhukov. He won the three thousand buy in Po Limit Omaha Hi/Low Split 8/OB. He went back home with his 2nd WSOP bracelet and 330,277 dollars.
