WPT Casino and Poker

Marvin Rettenmaier the professional poker player from Germany has entered the record books of the WPT (World Poker Tour) this last Thursday after he won his 2nd big WPT victory of 2012 in Cyprus. Last May, the German poker player won an amazing 1,196,858 American dollars after winning the 2012 World Poker Tour Championship that was held at the Bellagio.

Marvin Rettenmaier won 287,784 American dollars after his win in Cyprus, although money wise, it is not a great win like the win at the Bellagio but it is still a great win. He won this game and earned it after he won the final table after playing poker for 4 consecutive days. He single handedly dispatched 5 players from the final table.

This tournament in Cyprus had a total entry list of three hundred and twenty nine players. They battled it out until only six reached the final table. The final table included the German poker pro who win it at the end, Marvin Rettenmaier, Ran Azor, Victor Paraschiv, Artur Voskanyan, Kiryl Radzivonau and Joseph El Khoury.

Marvin Rettenmaier was not the chip leader but he fought the contestants until he reached the top and started to eliminate his competition one by one by showing amazing aggression and talent. The final two were Marvin Rettenmaier and Artur Voskanyan. Marvin Rettenmaier had the upper hand as he was the holder of a chip lead of 10 times his opponent. It took him no time to eliminate and dispatch his Russian rival who went home with 184,020 American dollars as the runner up.
